I’m always moving. Even in my sleep. This funky lil’ green through summer I shall keep. Love my life!
huge handful of spinach
went with ginger today instead of turmeric
One of my fave go to green juices. Tend to drink it throughout the year. But especially during the colder months. Yes, the temperature drops below 75 degrees in LA. My last run was Wednesday night. Shortly after taking a high intensity gym class. Not my smartest move.
The back to back impact was too much for both knees. My ankle also began to whisper. Took notice. And took off. The next few days that is. Couldn’t figure out why I wasn’t recovering well. Then I remembered this groovy green. Simple. Yet effective. I love kale. And turmeric too. The benefits are startling. Drink up!
Took my running gear to work yesterday anticipating a lunch run. Didn’t happen. Going for it again today. Refuse to let retail holiday hours wreck certain fitness goals that I’ve set. Shopping for new running shoes this weekend. Stoked. Dig on this green I had for breakfast.

Sippin’ on this lovely. Drake remix playin’ the lobes. Still dig William Singe’s arrangement. Early mornin’ cruise. Cold air. Sharp mind. Senses free. Moon child vibes. Missin’ so many during this time. Dark corners still shed light. Energy way up. Tone down low. Crooked smile. Healthy glow. Enjoy!

New fave green vibe up for your healthy grab. Drank it this morning on my way in to the average gig. One day soon I’ll be pitching my literary tent on a studio lot. Basking in the glowless bosom of retail hell requires little or no passion. I’ve grown tired of the long napping. Perhaps an occasional food fight in the lunch room would break up the monotony. Remember to always dream wig! Pulling out all of one’s hair until it comes true. Sip!

Not much writing this morning. At a portion in the book where the last twenty pages whine like an endless cycle of regret. Sometimes it’s hard to plow through all the shit. Face to face with myself. Yes, I’m editing my first book. 417 pages. I’ll let you know how it flows.
On a much doper note. Decided to whip up a green juice and a green smoothie to kick off Monday. Even after a cup of warm lemon water stomach vibe still didn’t feel alkalized. Felt like straight garbage. Made two of my fave green recipes to go.
Rinsed out the Nutribullet cup and tossed in the ingredients for a green smoothie.
Vega Sport protein

Slammed this one down right before the Uber arrived because it smelled so good. Still sticking to my gallon of water a day. Skin is improving and my joints are diggin’ the hydration. Dig on the recipes and the rest of your day. Let me know if you try one!
Didn’t really want to put this up. Quick break from editing. Needed my morning green. Writing more. Blogging less. The beach house I long for looms in the short distance. I’m not speaking of wealth. Or the acquisition of things with more tags and labels. Giving you more tags and labels.
No. Never been a point of interest. What does peak the former is my need for my own schedule. I’ve grown tired of adhering to someone else’s. I’ve spent my entire life avoiding routine only to discover that it had become just one. I won’t go into this long diatribe naming people, places and things. The point is now moot.
This morning I wrote a note to myself. More like journaled. Telling myself that I must develop a daily routine. And stick with it. The moon dust in me has never allowed for such thinking. Nomadic in spirit. A wanderer by nature. Always stopping and starting. Afraid to see anything through.
Gone now are such juvenile notions. Not because I’ve reached a certain age. Or found myself dozing in this unrelenting web of wisdom. No. It is none of that. My heart aches because I am not free to express what I see and feel. I must get it out. And more out. And more out. In order to do that I have to become stern in my approach.
Waste less time. Have the next step in mind. Discipline brings balance. That is all I am seeking. Ciao.
lots of kale
lots of spinach
granny Smith apple
Snagged this from fellow fitness friend’s page(@jenneco). Whipped it up. As usual the avocado kept the vibe creamy. I almost always use frozen bananas in my smoothies. Think I trick myself mind into believing that I stay full longer.
Made a few substitutions along the way. Didn’t have lemon ginger cayenne. Sprinkled red cayenne pepper instead. Also was out of hemp seed. Although it was good I felt like it was still missing something. That thing to give it a bit pmore kick in the sweet department’s ass. Jenn suggested a cucumber or apple. I think a green apple or some pineapple would do the trick. Try it. Let me know!
some frozen banana
the other side of an avocado
a few shakes of red cayenne pepper
my last bit of chia seed
healthy splash of almond coconut milk
My fave go to green juice recipe. Especially on those days and nights I don’t feel like cutting and slicing. I dig buying produce. But suck at rinsing, cutting and storing it in containers to make for an easy grab. I’m lazy. Sue me. And don’t forget the turmeric. So good for all my fitness heads out there in terms of reducing joint pain and inflammation related to training. Enjoy!
