Kitchen Sink Recovery

Ninety minute hot yoga session last night calls for double the recovery reinforcement this morning. Although I had my usual mix of Vega Sport with water after getting my sweat on, I didn’t properly refuel with food or a smoothie later. No bueno. Gotta replace those electrolytes and feed those muscles within a decent time window or you’re just wasting your workout.


Restarted my engine this morning with a cup of warm lemon water and a deliciously grand bowl of Irish oatmeal. Whipped up this kitchen sink frenzy of a smoothie for my commute into the city with no lights. This was a rockin’ good one. Enjoy!
